Small Business Energy Efficiency Grant Program

First-come/first-serve grants are now available from PA-DEP for small businesses that want to improve energy efficiency. The program provides 25% matching funds up to $25K for equipment or processes that significantly improve energy efficiency (lighting upgrades, HVAC systems, insulation, etc.). Grants are open now through May 1 or until funds run out.

Businesses will need to invest in upgrades that save at least $1,000 a year. This will cut your energy costs and save money over the long term, especially as energy rates are projected to rise significantly.

You don't have to do this alone. FREE help is available through the Wharton School's EMAP (Environmental Management Assistance Program). EMAP can assess your energy use, recommend upgrades that will have the greatest impact on your bottom line, and calculate your payback. All EMAP services are free.

If you are interested, call EMAP's hotline for more information: 877-ASK-EMAP
